Oswego Design Concept The design concept for the Oswego is based on maximizing views and light, fitting well into the James Bay streetscape, and creating a building that is rich in texture and detail. Crisp, solid, and slender rectangular forms, crystalline window-walls, subtle asymmetries, and an unexpected patterning of windows and warm brick are used to build a hotel that is urbane and sophisticated while at the same time casual and inviting. Both inside and out, the hotel will provide the guest with a true west coast experience, where city and nature meet in a refined and balanced whole.
